Paragliding in the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic has some of the most dramatic places to go paragliding in the World. Getting to some of the takeoff points is already a great adventure by itself. Places to fly include Matua (near Santo Domingo), Azua, Bani, Barahona and Bonao. On the north coast paragliding is also possible off the top of Isabel de Torres in Puerto Plata, although the wind is normally too strong to make this a regular paragliding location.

Provided that the wind is right, you can paraglide all year round in the Dominican Republic.

Top professionals will also give lessons to beginners.
